Response to Carville on Hillary's electability

This is in response to an op-ed written by James Carville and M. Penn , saying Hillary
can win 2008 Presidential election.

July 2, 2006

It is so clear to everyone I know. Especially all women. From young, first-time voters, just
beginning to understand their power in the voting booth, to my 78 year old stepmother--we
dislike Hillary Clinton and would never, never vote for her.
This is not because we are idealogues-most are registered democrats, many independents,a
few republicans. But, we all agree. We do not like Hillary. We do not hate her. We do not like
her. We believe she lives by "Do as I say, not as I do." We believe she is cold. We do not mistake this for strength. We believe she is living with many lies.
Most believe her senatorial work has merits. She is a strong defender of funding for terror
programs, especially her state, New York. But we loathe her support for all abortions, she
kows to special interests there and her "hate Bush" statements. We believe that has more to
do with Bush;s strengths and that in history, her husband will be known as a self-serving, low moral, intelligent man with no center or self-responsibility.
This was evident at Coretta Scott King's funeral. It became more about the Clintons than Mrs.
Kings' legacy.
Her eyes never smiled. She uses language to describe republicans as plantation owners.
Put your spin on why she can will- yes, maybe, within democratic circles, but not with redstate,
"red meat" average American women who know what their men are up to, who demand respect, who do not call people they disagree with evil.  We believe in people who work hard,
own their own home and don't change their minds, depending on who they're talking to at the
time. We all thin it shows a lack of character that all of her adult life, until scandal drove up
her asking price, she never owned a home-lived in government or family housing. This is not
an example of an independent, vital woman. She just never seems happy. And this is why
most women will not vote for her. This is why most women do not like her.
Most of all, if you stay in a demeaning marriage only for power, what does that say?

"Pity"

I sent this to Dana Priest at the Washington Post after her appearance with Bill Bennett
on Meet The Press , Sunday, July 2.

Pity----- That is what I and so many feel for a person, who condones treasonous behavior,
ala Mary McCarthy, CIA and unknown civil and military bureaucrats) who have taken upon
themselves to destroy President Bush and his policies. You really wish. What you, and your
comrades like the panel today on MTP, do not understand is; that beyond your circle of
socialist free-thinkers?(exactly what does your husband do and have you ever disclosed
these contemptuous connections in your opinion pieces)-no one in middle-America agrees
with you. But you believe, we are unimportant-crazy christians who do not matter.
The PRESS is not all powerful and beyond the reach of laws. If you do not like the executive branch of government, work hard to elect someone who does. But don't hold your breath,
the "redstate" majority will not let that happen.
You endanger our country with your innuendo(it is certainly not proven fact). You spit on our
Armed Forces safety.Where are the proven facts to back up your Pulitzer? But it is a proven
fact that Joe Wilson has lied early and often . If he was really worried about his wife being
"outed" as a spy one smart thing to do would not write op-eds in the New York Times he
knew the administration would rebut. Was that his purpose? To try and trip up a Libby, Rove
or other official who's job entails talking to the press?
The illegal corrupt "leakers" are you, Risen, Lichtblau, McCarthy with motive to demean this
administration. You ignore anyone who does not see through your lens on life.
The condescencion shown to Bill Bennett on MTP with that "casino" comment greatly elucidates
your character. You thrive on the underhanded cheapshot, lies you tell to push a political point
of view. That is what the Times did in regards to the SWIFT program and you did on secret
euro-prisons. You have a right to an opinion, but no right, legally or constitutionally; especially
ethical to decide what government secrets should be printed because some hacks at Pentagon
or State are being ignored. Changes at the CIA are being made for the better. The leakers
will be stopped by all means available, hopefully.
The feigned ignorance of your bias is the most distasteful, but again and again it backfires.
The Redstates will get redder. The blue ones, purple. Don't agree or believe this? Have one
of your polls taken on how Americans feel about these stories and your arrogance as was
displayed by you, Andrea Mitchell, et al today on MTP. Your side will lose. In a landslide FOR
our country's safety and security.
